An Actual Game?!

I might just be creating a real, playable game. Isn’t that exciting? Here’s a teaser:

My hope is to start out with a game that is somewhat of a copy of transport tycoon, but I may be inspired to go in a different direction along the way.

I’ve recently started working on an RPG game in Java using the Slick gaming engine. It’s not very far along, but I’ve started making some graphics for the first dungeon! The lich (if you couldn’t tell what it is in the top right) needs the most work.

Sonic 3 – Hydrocity Zone Remix

First post!

I’m working on a remix of the music from Sonic 3′s Hydrocity Zone, which is the second level in the game. Currently I would not consider my remix to be as good as the original, but I’m making progress! I do particularly like the fullness of the second part of the song, when the second main melody plays. The Hydrocity Zone music is probably my favorite music from all of the sonic games, so I hope to make a remix that fully credits it.

It is made using FL Studio 8. Most of the instrument presets were made using the 3x0sc synthesizer, however there are a few other synths. As the remix progresses, I’m sure that I’ll be adding more.
